Re: More powerful attachment management?

Hmm,

I might be missing something obvious...but to me it is the same structure...
as our phpbb installation runs on a server that allows ftp access to everything already
the only difference would be that the permissions would be synched by the phpbb mod.
I can already do all this manually...

Re: BBCode on new topic

I see, thanx.

So it is intended only as a hint for manual typing in 3.0?

It's a tiny detail, and you can allways type manually...but it was a nice feature...

Actually this was a bug. It was not supposed to stay after you hover away from the button. I can understand what you are ...

Re: BBCode on new topic

Hello and thanx for reply...
As describes in my first post, on my phpbb2 installations the code "sticks" in the bar
under the bbcodebuttons, after hovering the mouse over it so that you can copy and paste the code.
It does not in here...or on my phpbb3 installations...
It's a tiny detail, and you ...

[solved] BBCode on new topic

[Edit by original author: this is a feature not a bug.]

in phpbb2, It used to be possible to hover over the URL button and then copy and paste
the variation on abbcode, making a link like this:
[url=http://area51.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=26582]
phpBB 3.0 Beta5 released [/url]
look like ...

Re: More powerful attachment management?

I have been thinking for along time about something like this:

Every forum or sub-forum has it's own (auto-created by a new mod)
ftp directory, where all the files are accessible via ftp also, as well as from within phpbb3.
Permissions same as within phpbb3. User and pw also.
Each phpbb3 user ...

Re: Attachments Security...

Is this change in beta 5?
I am seeing some issues with Safar OSX, as discussed in the supportforum here:
http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.ph ... chments%2A

I would just like to know what I should be looking for in my testing.

fin these features in my beta, test install?

Re: Olympus as School Forum - some feature thoughts

Hello Kevin,

I am ofcourse aware of that.
I just wanted to put some ideas for the future out there, for whatever timeframe and version that it might apply to.
Have I posted in the wrong place?

peace
Janne A.

You would have to do a MOD ...
