Sorry to ask this, ive read the whole thread and i think its been answered but want to be sure to put my mind at rest....

Since ive logged in after the conversion to PHPBB3 my password has been converted and therefore cannot be compromised? Is that correct?

but it sounds so stupid that a new version is put on a hold because of a silly captcha problem

It was not "put on hold" as you put it... There was never any schedule release date (and still isnt) so i dont see how the release was put on hold because of this.... it was simply being worked on ...

(btw.. i would not expect a release on monday anyway. Based on previous releases if it isnt today it will be next saturday or sunday at the earliest, in my opinion)

The dev team will surely decide when the time is right and bug reports coming in for typos and other such things will surely have no impact at all on the release of RC1.

Based on the latest bugs remaining as new in the bug tracker and being unassigned or tagged as review later.. it now seems ...
