Do yourself a favor and type "wysiwyg" into the search field at the top of the forums.

This has been discussed ad-infinitum.

The real solution is to not use a crappy "free' host.

Hosting is dirt cheap these days.

On my host, all web stuff (public) is under a directory called "public_html". So I had to enter something like "public_html/phpbb3" as the path. Then it worked well.
