i think small mods, there would be no problem. but for the bigger ones there could be a lot of template changes.

personally I think these things are useless, all they do is add extra clutter.. As long as you update phpBB to the latest version ASAP then you will be fine.. Use these tools if you want, but all they are going to do is add code that has not been as thoroughly tested as the phpBB code and ...

yes it is the best way to do it, editing the PHPBB 3.0 style , but for releasing your style i think u have to wait for RC release.

there would be very less difference between beta and RC interms of style.

i think there would be many styles for PHPBB3.0 , lets wait and see.

well AJAX, sounds to be good, and PHPBB 4.0

yes that would happen but would take atleast 4-5 yrs from now, there would major changes in PHP. i think there is hardly enough functions left out in php to come out with PHPBB 4.0

it looks pretty good, we would relase the style soon that we are under development.

well we are in process of making a theme for PHPBB 3.0, i think there would be not much difference in making styles for beta and RC. Beta2 is good and next must an RC release.

phpbb is the best of all.

VB has a ton of feautes, IPB is a crap and SMF is worthless in comparing with us and others.
I have used SMF , VB and IPB and to compare with us, i think VB stands to be good.

towards security, i say PHPBB 3.0 would be much secure, no matter the olden days when the boards ...
