Beta 3???!!!
Current CVS snapshots are marked as 'phpBB 3.0.B3-dev'? What does it suppose to mean? That Beta3 has already been (w/o official release)? Will next version be Beta 4 or RC1?

Re: latin1?
The difference is great. If you are trying to post non-latin characters (cyrillic, japanese, arabic, etc.) in native encoding or even in unicode you will get error message from MySQL. I already submitted it as a 'bug', but there was no reply on it. You can resolve this problem by changing all ...

New style links
In phpBB 2 link to topic looked just like this:
mysite.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=123
now it's:
mysite.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=123
but old style also works.
What's the difference? Why does it form link in new style if old one works too?

Re: Group color under "Last Post"
Yep, knew about that, but it doesn't work on my Beta 2 install like it does here. They only show in color in the "Who is Online" block and in "View Topic", but nowhere else. Everywhere else they are the default color.
Well, quite odd. I made user group "Moderators" on my test board and It acted ...

This forum rules (about suggestions)
...For suggestions please use our tracker on Sourceforge.
Well, I have a suggestion about installation procedure, but I don't know address of this tracker. Could someone, please, alter Forum rules text so "our tracker on Sourceforge" phrase will be the link to it?

Re: Password protect a forum feature?
In "I've Found Her" Game's Forum there is a passworded forum which contains discussions with plot/spoiler topics. Password to this forum appears in the game.

It's not technically the same, but I think that your case can be considered as live environment.

Re: Attatchments
You can change PHP settings via .htaccess if your apache has mod_php or mod_suphp installed.
