True it is not their job but he never said it was theirs just an idea from him which would make it easier for members to use the forum together with other software products. If the phpbb team will do that is up to them. Personally I think it would be an great idea.

nope there is no donation as such except if you buy Bertie Bear for example or have a look at one of the annoncements SHS(i think) made over at phpbb.com
The team makes 0 profit off those bears, they are sold at manufacture price.

Considering one might have an Admins' room and a Mods' room... why should members ask to get in hidden Forums, only because the total shown does not match what they see?

hmmm had the same problems like HOL the last days. today it seems to work like it should again.

Not sure where exactly again, but it has been said often that the final design is compleatly different in everything, be it CSS images etc.. It has nothing in comon with the design you see here atm.
