No offense, I understand your situation since I have the same problem with japanese. But "outlook" is the problem, not phpbb

I started to recommend a real MUA to users, such as thunderbird MUA or gmail for webmail.

I'm currently using PHPBB2 for my forum, and have had some serious issues with spam users. Does PHPBB3 have any improvements in this area? Or is the best option to wait for modders to make anti-spaming mods?

I'm very interested in this topic as well, since I am planning on implementing an Google Maps page, articles page, etc for phpbb3.

I'm itching to start getting some mods made, how about putting up a "Beta" mod section for this forum. I know these wont be official mods yet since phpbb3 itself is still in beta, but we need a place where we can start getting mods ready and tested.

ChALkeR: have you considered using one of the AJAX php servers? Such as phpfreechat, Chategory, or Chatr? It seems it would be much easier working off an already working system and just implementing the user logon part.

well, skype://" target="_blank is an official protocol if you have skype installed
And this feature if ever added, would be for people that have skype installed, so it would make sense to use skype://" target="_blank
