Re: Finish up and release
I don't know. Why don't you contribute hooks so that we can release 3.1? You're attitude is incredibly concerning. I hope the whole development team doesn't share this same opinion. You are saying I'm going to do what I want and if the community wants something they will have to do it. You are tryi...

Re: Finish up and release
For the same reason you otherwise update? To get the latest bug fixes and new features? That would be subjective view for board owners. I have MODded my forum to suit my needs. :) I will not go from 3.0 to 3.1 if it kicks less ass than my current version. :P 3.0.x updates are not same as upgrade to...

Re: Finish up and release
Too much planning? One could just polish phpBB 3.0 and call it 3.1 part of the job is already done and is waiting in the MOD database. (as some of the phpBB3 features were back in the phpBB2 days) Just get around the usual "Not everyone wants feature X " cry. Might even ignore it and look ...

Re: User Security

Älphäbet url support
http://www.älypää.com <- phpBB3 fails in this area. These should work in phpBB4 :) This is becoming a real problem when users are forced to use tinyurls or encode it manually. Example; http://www.xn--lyp-plada.com for http://www.älypää.com or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matti_Nyk%C3%A4nen for http:...
