I'm seeing these too, half a dozen in 1 day on one forum, and a smattering across other related sites. Some with quite involved custom profile fields.

It may also be your server supressing php notices - the one which comes to mind is the getimagesize() function disabled or limited. phpBB3 will *not* run if this function is not fully enabled. We require this function to secure several areas, checking for valid images for example.

I just tried to upload the exact same picture onto the 2.X forum on the same server etc, and it worked perfectly. Took about 2 seconds ..
Would that negate the possibility of it being a server / php version issue etc ?

Not sure if this is a bug or an issue with my server / config / whatever ..
Running CVS from the 13th as a test forum. Small attachments will upload etc no problem.

I am suspecting (hoping) that RC1 will be along soon, as the CVS snapshots have been cleaned out, and the same thing happened before BETA 5 was released ....

I agree with bad-dj, I think I will give it to the end of april and if there is no sign of RC1 I will just go with the CVS, as I have a lot of work sitting on hold waiting behind the log-jam that is PHPBB3, there is no doubt that it's going to be worth the wait for those who can wait ...
