My efforts to post in this board have been repeatedly refused by the Spamhaus function, saying that various IPs I use are compromised.
I live on a small island state and the nearly single internet provider provides a new IP after each disconnect of the router.
About 4 out of 5 of these new IPs are ...

I already asked and argued to have a clone_post function as an extension here .
But considering that a post is the one basic element the whole board is made of, cloning a post in order to modify and then merge or open a new topic with that clone should imho be a standard, inbuilt function in phpBB ...

Will it be possible to directly convert from phpBB2 to Ascraeus?

(Changes in php will probably force me to upgrade my beloved modded phpBB2- Board and I wonder if I can wait to upgrade directly to 3.1. once it's ready.)

I prefer to create a Test board on the same server, then use it to Test install the MODs.
That's even much better! - I do have the space, but not the knowledge yet (first board was installed by provider).

Will it harm, as the EM tables already exist in the db (Provider did the MySQL-job for me, before I had phpMySQL-access myself)?
