Yes.
Bots shouldn't see the printable version. I don't know if this is the case with phpBB.

If I may fix just two inaccuracies...
The site automatically registers you into their system… but you only need to log in using your openID username and password.
You log in using your OpenID. Username and password are OpenID provider's implementation detail.

this will not be an extremely complex addition to the current message parser.
Well, there is a workaround. Include \n in the regexp for [*], and you got yourself a </li>.
having to add anything to the lang[] global will require to edit the language files, which defeats this purpose, so i don ...

I didn't check this on Beta4, but Beta3 has the same caption on ucp_register with nothing marked by *. This isn't just for CPF there...

Well, a blog has one major difference over a bulletin board.
Indeed. In a blog the site admin is the only member who has permission to start new topics. I believe this functionality is built into phpBB 2.0.
Why should I have to suffer from a huge -bandwidth consuming- software overloading ...
