Re: [GSoC] Chat-like PMs interface :: discussion before coding starts
Yeah it's not meant like a chatbox or anything like that. I personally only use custom folders to bypass the message limits, could you give some examples as for what your users are using it? Thanks for sharing this document Senky and Akbar Hashmi, it's looking good so far and I don't see any unexpec...

Re: [RFC] Include mobile style
I'm prepared to develop this. I already have a half-developed style which would need updating for jQuery Mobile 1.1, colouring to make it look like prosilver, and completing. You can see it here (there are a few obvious bugs and missing features): http://phpbb-mobile.com/forums/index.php?style=8 I ...

Re: Need thoughts on "Users send e-mail via board" option
It's really tempting to reply on this, but this topic is about showing plaintext e-mails.
So if you would really like to see that option changed, I suggest you open a new topic for that suggestion. (Or ask for a topic split)

Re: Need thoughts on "Users send e-mail via board" option
I think that's the best and easiest solution.nickvergessen wrote:I'd also agree on setting "Users can contact me by e-mail:" to No by default aswell. Main communication is using PMs anyway.

Re: [RFC|Merged] No db storage of stylesheets and templates
Before the removal of style.php commit , phpBB read the @import lines from stylesheet.css , included and read the imported CSS files and stored them in the database. The file style.php just throwed the compiled and merged CSS files. You are now linking directly to stylesheet.css which of course stil...

Re: Removal of imagesets
Very good proposal, imagesets (with the unhandy .cfg files) are a real pain in 3.0 currently.
This will also solve the localisation problem (missing buttons) that is still present after 11 releases.
I think we absolutely need this in 3.1.

Re: [RFC|Accepted] Cleaning up the ACP UI
acp_main.png I think all the Resync/Reset Statistics options should be moved to a different "Statistics" page as well. This is currently taking up almost 1/4 of the complete ACP mainpage while you never use those options. Only leave "Purge the cache" since that has to be used mo...

But it would be impossible to install it on 3_0_RC4 when that comes out if I understand correctly.naderman wrote:Just below. If they are for 3_0_RC3, they obviously depend on 3_0_RC3.

Re: [RFC] Contact Page
Needless to say, listing the email address in plaintext is less than ideal. It's also leaked on the General Error page: Google: intitle:"General Error" "Please notify the board administrator or webmaster" Notes: 1) A CAPTCHA cannot be used on this page due to accessibility issue...
