Actually not. Invision Power Board and vBulletin use AJAX for this! You have my word, an AJAX implimentation is not a three minute task ;)

They could do it, but only as a _GET sended parameter to mark the forum as read. Two page loads ...

Of course not. It would be impossible to update the forum with every new CVS snapshot. They will update it again when BETA3 comes out .. :)

How do they do that, whit a convertor just for them? And why does they gife that converter at the peoble her ...

I have maybe a nice idea, ripped from IPB but so what? It's a little chanche in the HTML code (if the team doesn't build this in the style i shall do it my self but I think a lot of people shoud like this little changing in the code).

Now it's only possible to mark forums as read in the category ...

Wow, just 24 bugs and 9 bugs "fix in progress" i am sure B3 is this week. But nobody can know this realy sure.

I think this weekend beta 3 wil be released. And if it isn't this week it is this month...

They have done a lot of fixes this day, i think the beta 3 is for this month

Yes but you can never know, let us hope that it is now a RC so we (the webmasters) can start with converting our 2.1.x boards to phpbb olympus (just for testing how easy/difficult it is to convert and what the problems are)
