I have it on good authority that some of the current plans for phpBB 21 are:

- voice recognition system. You say your post, and it's automatically written on screen.

- touch screen to select smilies and bbcode

- a new texture bbcode, where you can input a texture, and when you touch the screen ...

Good chances that someone will make a mod for it at some point after the release, but as a standard feature, it won't be included.

Tis a Beta version, some things may not work out as they should. If your planning on seriously making a translation, I'd wait until at least the RC stage.

Ptirhiik has said he'll make an upgrade script to go from his Categories Hierarchy mod to phpBB3, however keep in mind that he's not obligated to do so. As well, even though I doubt he he would, he could potentially change his mind. In the end, his mod is unrelated to the workings of the phpBB team ...

Errrrr, you can still change the folder name, all you need to do is make sure you change the script path in the ACP, and cookie settings.

It's phpBB, the BB standing for Bulletin Board, therefore this is to be forum software. This isn't phpBBlogger

It is, but the dev's have said repeatedly before that the name refers to the mountain on Mars, not anything from Greek mythology.

1) The default font size. I have actually tried several things in terms of increasing the font size, from browser, modifying the template (inside ACP), etc. .... I've come to the conclusion that the default font-size is designed to be visually optimal . Unfortunately, it is too small ...
