Re: [RFC] Avatar improvements, Gravatar
Igor you made an interesting point, and I think changing the way files are delivered would open up the code so you could create, for example, interfaces to third party objects. Such as uploading attachments to Amazon S3. But is that a different RFC?

Re: [RFC] Pre-Compile Template Includes
ExpressionEngine uses something similar to this proposal for their plugins. It is extremely powerful and enables you to create custom plugins that only modify a template and not the core code. Re: A Couple of things I would like to see if phpbb4
@Sam: I think you actually nailed on the head with one of the things you said: You’d turn the feature off. We can’t assume what everyone would or would not want, but if you add on/off switches to all features, you allow the administrator to choose exactly what he does and does not want. More than fe...

Re: The team page
1) Moderators given a global permission (such as the mere ability to issue warnings) are labelled as Moderators of "All forums" when this simply is not the case, they may still only be assigned Moderator privileges of certain forums, and that should be what is displayed under the Forums c...

Re: A Couple of things I would like to see if phpbb4
Maps, reputation system, friendly URLs, poll enhancements, etc. ALL of that should be plugins and not something that is in core again because they're things YOU want and not what EVERYONE needs. That’s why I think a feature request voting system could be extremely helpful. For example, I think ther...
