Who voted for what is also recorded in 2.0.x. I don't really see what you mean by it having privacy issues, apart from the fact that admins can look at what you voted for, if they look in the database. it's necessary because it's a reliable way to ensure that each user only gets one round of voting ...

hmm, I think it's fairly unlikely that that karma won't be a feature in 2.2 final
And yes, it is optional. You can set permissions for users to rate posts on a per user/group basis, for each forum (see bottom of this screenshot - 'can rate posts')

Well, if he said that 'forae' is a Latin word then yes, he is. According to my Cambride Latin Course textbook, second declension neuter nouns have the endings -um, -i, -o, -a or -is...nowhere there do I see 'ae'.

Testing forums/forae are one further down.
