haravikk: No, you can't define BBcode in languages. How would it work for boards with multiple languages installed? Anyway, I doubt many people would use it...

I frankly doubt [colour] tags will work. That just means more code which does the same thing.

I think it would recompile automatically every time a change is made to the template file. At least that's how most template systems do it...
