Re: [RFC|Accepted] Switch to PHP timezone handling
I have put together a nearly complete list of world timezone locations. You can see them at http://www.richardfoote.com/phpBB3/ucp.php?mode=register What happened to the rest? Did you select them manually? I had "borrowed" the list from another board software that uses PHP timezone handli...

Re: [RFC|Accepted] Switch to PHP timezone handling
besides that: Why do you use GMT and not UTC? Why do we even use either one of them? I thought the idea of switching to PHP timezone handling was so the user wouldn't have to worry about timezone offsets and whether DST is set. The user only has to select a location within their timezone and PHP wi...

Re: [RFC] Switch to PHP timezone handling
I would implement it with the 400-long alphabetical list of the timezones, at least for now. I agree with doing it this way. A message board I know of has a dropdown list of 368 DateTimezones with user-friendly descriptions sorted alphabetically on these descriptions by country and then by region o...

Re: Galleries that can be integrated with phpbb3
Are you sure that PhotoPost does? I know they say "PHPBB2 2.018 and up!", but that does not include phpBB3. That would be phpbb 2.0.18 to 2.0.23. Coppermine and Gallery2 do integrate with phpBB3, plus they are free! Plus, there are a couple of photo gallery MODs written for phpBB3, but you...

Re: smf to phpbb3 conversion error
the phpbb3 install was completely fresh, no tables, no posts, no nothing, so the config.php would be blank wouldnt it? If the phpBB3 board is installed and running, the config.php is not empty. It will contain the information to connect to your database. Re your problem: the users and bots are adde...

Re: Emails sent through the board going to the wrong people
Are you sure the emails are being sent from your board? It may be a spammer spoofing the board email address. Check the email header.

Re: Stop the rebuild index process
The building of the Search Index stops when you move away from the Build Search Index screen, so it should be stopped now. When you go back into the Build Search Index screen, you will be asked if you want to continue the previously started build of the Search Index.
