As far as I know phpBB 3.3.0 supports up to Internet Explorer 11
It does not support some of the older versions, cannot remember which ones but there is a topic on here about it.

Re: Reporting Profiles

not sure what you can have there really? Other than contact info and stats Depends on what type of CPFs have been added. If they are text fields then a user can enter anything they want, whether it is relevant or not. not sure how much of a need there is considering its hidden away under there prof...

What I believe is being requested, is that the User can configure where he wants a CPF to be displayed.
If you go down that route then you could say the same about any other user data

Re: Option For User To Display Custom Profile

I love the Custom Profile Fields feature of phpbb 3.x. However, there isn't an option to give the user an option to display the profile field. I think this is very important feature/option given today's concern over personal privacy. No idea what that means. Where do you want CPFs to be displayed? ...

Apparently this is all way over your head
When I was working in training there was a rule - if somebody does not understand something it is not their fault, it is the fault of the one doing the explaining. Perhaps this may be the problem here.

Re: Twig Function Semantic Naming

A good thing to do I think will be to prefix template functions that come from phpBB extensions like ext_vendorname_extensionname_ or just vendorname_extensionname_ That shows immediately "where it comes from" But won't they be within the extension's files anyway so it will be obvious where they co...

Re: Database table names MUST have a prefix.

But if, as some do, have multiple phpBB installs in the same database then you need the prefix to distinguish them. It is probably a carry over from the days when many hosts only allowed one database in an account, unlike today where usually you can have several - if not unlimited. The problem if th...

Area51 and phpBB com do NOT share the same user credentials.
Since when?

I have never registered for Area51 - just logged in using phpbb.com credentials for the last 15 years (when I am not auto logged in)

Personally SmartGit has served me well for several years now when working with Github. Easy to use and understand.
