I wanted to do some debug before I posted a bug report. Here is what I found:
I had category-hierarchies installed. In the phpbb_forums table there also existed forum names that were the same as the category names. However, they had a cat_id of '0'. The script was using $cats_added[$row['cat_id ...

I must admit that I too was secretly hoping for a RC1 today.

The search html would still be shown in conjunction with the html from the link as described in my previous post.

Managing Users
Hi,
I find it akward that the "manage users" page has a search form. The pop-up window that pops up when clicking on the link below the input form would be a much nicer default page.

Re: Database upgrade question
With current version of phpBB2, all upgrades and updates are performed on the existing database, a new database is not created.
I would like to start fresh. But I guess I might have to modify the update script.

Database upgrade question
Hi,
Will it be possible to migrate/upgrade to a new database completely? For example, reads are done from old database into a newly created database, not just table updates in old database.
TIA,

Is module installation gonna be a feature?
Hi,
I was messing around in the ACP and noticed that you can create or add modules in the XCP's. However, I noticed there is no method to actually install a real module that is not part of the default install. Are module installs for the various CP's gonna be a feature?

Re: Editing Modules in ACP
I'm not asking for support. I'm discussing a new feature. If you don't want to discuss the feature, then why bother even posting nonsense?
