Well, I finally got around to installing 2.1 onto my localhost, and WOW. It's GREAT. Thanks devs!

i just noticed something interesting...when smilies are in quotes, they aren't parsed. Is this intentional or was it not meant to be this way?

Example:

someone wrote: << that's a smiley!, except it isn't parsed. interesting.

I might be wrong, but that's what it was in 2.0.x, dunno about 2.2.x though...
