Why do you worry about an upgrade script? Just upgrade it yourself manually - I mean are you up for the challenge or not? Posting this question seems to contradict your claim of being up to the challenge. Basicly once it goes gold, just replace beta files with the new files and update the database ...

This is the first phpBB site that actually works on my computer!!

Im on 98se and when i login to a phpBB site,it doesnt work well @ all...Keeps freezing,etc.... If i browse AS A GUEST,its fine.....

I've since found that phpBB is using VERY OLD CODE and that may be why it doesnt work ...

We can all agree its coming soon, but soon is very relative. Might be a couple of days for some people, but years for others.

I will start whining about when version 4 will be out, and every day I will make a post asking where to download it.

The thing is, if you don't want to spend 5 minutes figuring it out youself, why should these people spend 5 minutes responding to you, like they have done 900 times before?

After just spending 1-2 entire days recovering my server from this worm attack I can certainly appreciate this
