actually, several people, myself included, have argued for some time that a spell checker should be a part of the core package.
luckily (or unluckily, depending on your point of view...) FF 2.0 with its built-in spell checker appeared before phpbb3 gold, which made the requirement much lower ...

I've noticed (as I'm sure others have; my apologies if I am revisiting a known issue) that in the Announcement section of this forum, there is "phpBB3 Release Candidate 1 (RC1) released." Shouldn't this be the RC3 post rather than the RC1?
