Re: How many phpbb users are programmers?

Re: And I wait for...
As has been said before... If you are not completely satisfied with phpBB, go find something you are satisfied with... And if you can't find anything, go make your own board...
It is depressing, if one tests something and then new errors is announced again.
That's the idea of the beta, to iron ...

Re: Warning users, does it have any sense ?
No, that would be a terrible idea to have a wide phpbb record. Im just talking about a single phpbb board.
Yup, that's what I'm talking about, too. It would be impractical and generally unuseful to try to create some kind of universal list due to different board standards, different ...

Re: Hello
Or you could just do a search considering I remember there being a topic almost identical to this one, oh, a week ago or so...
Shouldn't be too hard to track down, just search "beta 1 live" and see what you get!

Re: Warning users, does it have any sense ?
My idea here is probably way in over my head but here it goes...
You could like a "Criminal Record" of everyone. And keep a record of who does what thats wrong. And say a user does so many violations, a PM would be sent to a moderator telling the moderator that user has x ammount of warnings and ...

Re: Cellphone promoters here = spambots?
It would be interesting to make a forum bot, that went around responding to forum questions in the level of detail as spambot does... Only problem is he's a little too human to be a bot

Jabber Settings
Gday all,
I'm about to start using Jabber and I was just wondering if the dev team (and/or anyone else) can tell me what the Jabber settings on phpBB 3.0 do... I realise it sends a message via Jabber to people but how do you select where the message goes. Does it go to the same user as it logs in as ...
