Although it is very nice to discuss the level of testing needed in third party libraries, I'd be curious if there's an ETA as to when phpbb.com might be back online. I searched and didn't see anything.
Acyd Burn posted this yesterday...
At the moment everything is going quite smooth. Depending ...

Re: phpBB 3.2 Discussion
JRSweets, I have a patch 90% ready, I needed this for my site badly so all my coding effort the last few weeks has been on this.
Maybe (probably ;)) the phpBB Dev team can come up witha cleaner solution, but maybe they will gather an idea or two for my implementation. Either way for 3.0.x I have ...

Do you know phpBB has a built in API and functions to handle most if not all of those functions. For example... http://www.phpbb.com/mods/documentation ... nsert-post

Re: Bug Tracker Question
Since phpBB moved to SVN and Acyd_Burn said more projects (some internal) would be moved over there is there a change the bug tracker will be moved to there as well? There are some internal projects that are moving, but it does not mean that they will be publicly viewable. ;)

Re: let's get rid of {S_FORM_TOKEN}
Does this token need to appear on all forms except when using the confirm_box function, or only forms that do not modify the database? It doesn't appear on the jumpbox, forum/topic sort/filter forms or the quick search box in viewforum/viewtopic.

Re: custom bbcodes-matured. what's next?
What about the ability for you to enter what will be displayed on the button. Notice how the default bbcodes are all lowercase, however the text in displayed in the button has the first letter capitalized. If you create a custom bbcode the button displays in whatever case the bbcode is in.

Re: A New Developer on the Block :D
Up until very recently he was on the "Past Contributors" section on http://www.phpbb.com/about/" target="_blank
I believe he was on the phpbb2 and the phpbb3 development team in the beginning. It looks like he is back.
