Hello all,

I need to ask something. Is the phpBB development continuing in two seperate branchs for php 4.x and php 5.x , or is the final version the last release for php 4.x ? When the first update comes as phpBB 3.0.1, will that require php 5.x?

Quick reply decreases the quality of content on a board, as it enables the user to get into a "quick fire" mode and fire away quick, small nonsense at an alarming rate, but if that is what a board owner wants ...

I was expecting to see the Gold release, but a release date is just as well. We have a national holiday beginning 20th of December, so that means I'll spend the holiday customising the Gold release for my needs and upgrading my board. Congrats to the developers...
