Wow. I like this look but that would be nice to see some change. Although this is a bit different then the one for 2.0.x. phpBB just needs to be sure to keep their 'trademark' look in tact. The one that makes everyone know that the person is using phpBB.

Re: New VB out, New IPB out, New phpBB ___
I have now learned that it is not the end of the world that 2.2 isn't out yet. Yes, once I was obsessed with phpBB2.2 and checking in like crazy with the progress, but now I have realized how many great mods phpBB2.0.x has to offer, I mean think about it, IPB 1.3 mods won't work for IPB 2, but most ...

Re: phpBB 2.2 - Guess the Release Date Competition
All I'm saying is I guessed somewhere in November. I Don't want to give away my super answer
I am really excited about it though, heck even phpBB2.0 seems okay to me, and phpBB2.2 is going to rock. Although I wouldn't mind losing my guess to find out its coming out tomorrow, lol.

Re: Updates every 40 minutes?!
I think it usually stays the same from what I imagine. Although I look foward to some fixes to the CVS (since a lot of it is currently broken), so I can have some more fun with it.

Re: Is it possible to use phpbb 2.1?
The CVS snapshot works in many ways but there are many things 'broken' in the current ones, at least the one I have. You won't be able to edit the general board settings, backup, replace data, mod cp leads to blank page, can't add profile fields. Its also missing some lanaguage sections. So of ...

Re: Looking Good
Okay sounds good. That is really what I wanted to know. About the convertors. I think I am going to look at the complete features list and anaylize if I want this software. But if IPB does not charge after 2.0F as right now its just a rumor, I will probably stay with them. :|

I was a long time phpBB 2.0x user until I found IPB. But IPB isn't really allowed for perminant use it seems unless you pay, and after 2.0F is out there doesn't look like there will be any newer versions available for free. So I am actively looking into using phpBB2.2 when its out. Here is one ...
