Re: Phpbb3 Mobile?
Phones these days need less and less modification to work well on mobiles. Thankfully we are moving away from the days of WAP. I don't know what Android and the Blackberry's are like, but I assume they would be a bit like the iPhone in terms of displaying websites as they look on a normal computer.

You can try adding background noise, etc to the captcha in the ACP settings. Also, the lower the number you use the more difficult the captcha is to read. This might help in the meantime to stem the flow of bots.

My guess is that the latter would be used if the developers intend on expanding it in the future, whereas the first method would be used if they were confident it wouldn't change. Don't know for sure, but that's my guess.

Re: Refresh Captcha?
Can bots use javascript? I'm just wondering if a javascript refresh, like an ajax refresh mentioned above, would be viable.
arandomdan: that is a lovely CAPTCHA that you linked to. I like it a lot, I might play with it a bit - looks very useful! Thanks for the link!

Re: iframe bbcode not possible?
My Linux Webhosting admin (=Helpdesk lady) confirmed that its safe to use iframe. Should it be taken seriously :) ? it might be perfectly safe to use iframes (although, for various reasons *other than security*, i think it's a good idea to use it as little as possible, preferably never). however, t...
