Re: I love Creative

Keep an eye out for the KX Project drivers (you can find them via Google). They are alternative drivers for the Creative cards. They're not perfect yet, as they're targeted more at the pro audio market, with gamers as an afterthought, but they are gradually improving them. If you're having problems ...

Re: Start skinning phpbb3?

Personally, I'd work based on the assumption that there will be changes, and therefore avoid writing any markup at this stage (unless you don't mind modifying it later). If you really want to start working on a theme, concentrate on getting the images and colour schemes sorted, and then write the ac...

Re: About Locking Topics (On My Own Forum)

Well, I have a set of moderator guidelines for my site, which are published in a hidden forum (only viewable to fellow admins and mods). They're fairly wordy, so I've included a short summary here. For the most part, don't start moderating unless you have to. If a thread is getting border-line, warn...

Re: Justifying the name PHPBB3!

Or they could fill up the board with bloat that I'd never use. For those who just want a single additional feature, well, that's what the mods are for. If people really want all the feature bloat, I'm sure the community will create some pre-modded releases of phpBB, so those that want them can get t...

Re: What if there was some kind of topic archiving?

While we're on the subject of archiving - is there support for forum pruning to move a topic to another forum instead of deleting it?
