Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

That's all over now. But there was exactly the same problem in my freeserver forum and had nothing to do with Quickinstall but mainly with Firefox, but also with other browsers. This only in phpBB 3.3.1-RC1.

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

Why should this have nothing to do with 3.3.1-RC1 if there are no other problems with all phpBB versions and the problem exists on two computers?

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

I have a most peculiar phenomenon: For some time now, the local Quickinstall TB no longer shows the style changes in all browsers. I thought it could be because I had big problems with the last Windows Update. Nothing worked on my desktop anymore. I had to reset the Windows version. (I couldn't even...

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

It is definitely difficult to explain :-) You don't need support on .com if icons are not sharply displayed in Firefox! (even if it should not be a mixture - Firefox seems to be irritated by this) But if you type in the html file <i class="icon fas fa-cogs fa-fw" aria-hidden="true&quo...

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

Yes, but the solution to the problem is simple: either use only the 4.7 or only the 5.13.:-) But not this mixture!

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

In FF and IE 11 some icons (prosilver) look blurred, in Opera and Edge it looks good visually. Correct, as if the shape were fragmented. I noticed it already, no solution found so far via CSS. I guess that's a browser issue. But there are some icons from 4.7 which look partly bad in Firefox. Was es...

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

The solution can be found, but it still shouldn't be :) . Concerning the Stylechanges: Because of these changes in the responsive.css @media (min-width: 701px) { .postbody { /** deduct postprofile width (including border width, margin and padding) and postbody margin and padding */ width: calc(100% ...

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

One should not write anything more concerning the icons. But it's still abnormal. For example, if I now insert the icon far fa-trash-alt in navbar_footer.html, the icon fas fa-trash-alt or the fa-trash is still displayed. So I have to configure this icon additionally in css so that it is displayed c...

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

The other problem is that it has many different licenses for the sets. Also, it has many icons, but only a few fit a phpBB style. Also when you mix sets - the icons are different sizes. (I should actually insert my own sticky locked now) http://style-creations.bplaced.net/phpBB3/app.php/viewlegend E...

Re: phpBB 3.3.1-RC1 released

Well, then you have to live with the fact that there are big differences. It would have been better to stay with the 4.7 instead of implementing the icons 5 in 3.3.1 after 3.3.0 was released. 1. We have never and will never support nor recommended editing icon glyphs via css this is a terrible pract...
