A mod that I author uses caching to speed it up. The cached files are stored in a directory in the phpBB tree.

Some people have installed my mod via ezymod, and suggested that it would be nice if ezymod could CHMOD directories for them. For example, in my mod they had to CHMOD 777 the cache ...

Did you have your private key on that box? I hope you've revoked it etc etc.

The annoying issue with Microsoft is that with each release they somehow keep forgetting to support transparent PNGs which is a pain in the ass to us using Gimp since we can only create PNGs.

You can get an extension for gimp that will allow you to save images as .gif, it's under "non-free", and ...

phpBB is like Firefox: small, lightweight, flexible and fast.

The others are like IE: bloated, coming with unneeded features and full of security holes :mrgreen:

Nonononono... what I meant is that:

1) I'm guessing this is true, but only php is supported, right?
2) (and this is not really related) I'm making a mod to highlight any language. It's for phpBB 2.0.X at the moment, does anyone think it sounds interesting? If so, I'll also look into beginning work ...
