Re: 3.2 sample config file

Actually, no. But if you're too lazy to do it yourself here ya go

<?php
// phpBB 3.2.x auto-generated configuration file
// Do not change anything in this file!

$dbms = 'phpbb\db\driver\mysql';

Are you shure about "driver\mysql" ? "mysql" is deprecated since php7.0 must be "mysqli"

I agree ! Would be interesting to know about the experience of those who use this extension if any user use this feature ! I don't believe :!:

Re: phpBB 3.2.0-b2 released

I'v seen that 3.2.0-RC is released
https://download.phpbb.com/pub/release/ ... 3.2.0-RC1/ since may 16th
Is there any reason why it is not announced ?

On the basis that you have stated in another topic that you will not be using phpBB anymore then this is all irrelevant.
I didn't say that ! Hope this topic will not be locked too

Re: [RFC] Human Readable URLs

Stop riding this dead horse - I mean thread - everything has been said, every argument have been exchanged - you should try to accept this and search for a solution and not try to talk someone into building a feature you want, that isn't maintained furthermore soonish

The only real solution ...

Re: [RFC] Human Readable URLs

2. It seems that search engines prefer shorter urls to longer urls (but this is like with seo urls, some "seo specialists" are convinced others not)

You do realize that this is the exact opposite of what you've been so strongly arguing about in this topic right? Human readable URLs are not ...

Re: [RFC] Human Readable URLs

YouTube videos don't have any text because this are videos which you can name however you want. So human readable urls would make less sense ! What is the difference between the title of a video and the title of a forum/topic?

Re: [RFC] Human Readable URLs

I've personally grown to like the viewtopic.php URLs and prefer them over any "human readable" ones. I'd only want the latter for static pages.

Currently the phpBB topic URLs look similar to YouTube's (and they are kind of "human readable"). For example:
