Kill all but IE11. I think that's sensible and fair.

On the same line as Joyce&Luna I want to say it to the premium style authors that they should try to contribute in the new theme. Sure they're not entitled to but I believe it might be great to give something back to the community of they are not.

Other than that I don't agree with just improving ...

I tried to implement and currently using Pretty code by Google on my 3.1 test forum.. It sort of works but sort of doesn't. Having it in core would be great.

simple and effective. Great to see it coming in 3.2.x

Please put into considerations a lap of time of at least 2 years and look forward to find and purpose something very new for those times. All of this seems to me a standing ovation, so to speak. An obsolete deja-vu.

Ooh yeah FLEX!! I don't have much experience but in my time of designing I always find flexbox much more usable and convenient so I agree there.

Too much like NodeBB default style. It's pretty looking but I don't think the default style for phpBB should be that similar to some other forum software.
I'd agree with VSE here.
