Re: Neue Smilies ?
Actually no, this is an English language site and support is not given in other languages
Yeah, that's an important point.
I post on a different forum a lot, and they recently had a problem because people were speaking in non-english languages and making bad remarks. Their moderators are mostly ...

Re: Converter question
By default permissions will be transferred, however it would be trivial for you to alter the script not to do it
OK, thanks for the answer. I guess you're right, and I'll just leave it and let it copy the permissions. I guess it would be useful just to see how it forms the old permissions with ...

Re: Olympus vs. the rest
First off, vBulletin is NOT light. It uses a ton of server resources and most shared hosts don't even allow it because it uses so many resources on the server.
I'm a big phpBB3 fan, and I think it's better than both vBulliten, and DEFINITLEY SMF.

Re: Does Olympus stuff all attachments into a single dir?
That is what I use attachments for, but over the years, activity has swelled to just under 3000 files, which is the directory limit my host allows before truncating file listings, making backup a little difficult without 3rd party tools. I was just wondering if Olympus would make my life any ...
