I think Skype is too specific, a generic VoIP field would be better, say that you can enter an URL in (e.g. sip://" target="_blank or skype://," target="_blank etc).
At any rate, the forum rules state not to post feature requests here. No feature requests are being accepted for 3.0.

Re: Ajax features in phpbb3
This is a development board, the search feature is not guaranteed to work. I believe there have been lengthy periods where it did not work correctly.
Anyway, you want 'AJAX'... why? IMO, AJAX for the sake of AJAX is pointless, it's just a gimmick that's eventually going to wear off. I think the ...

Re: New CAPTCHA
I've never seen so many different deviations from generic CAPTCHAs, and they're all really good.
Are all of the CAPTCHAs posted in this topic going to be incorporated into phpBB3, or is the phpBB dev team only using the CAPTCHAs that are already in?

Re: New CAPTCHA
I don't think it's that hard for a human to read, but it could definitely use some work. I don't think the work needed to make it more readable is that major.
In 'Occlude' and 'Entropy', the only issue I can really see is the order in which you're supposed to read the letters, and even that's not ...

Olympus Bugtracker - Open bugs
Look at the bottom left and you'll see a count of the number of open reports. To me, that's like a countdown to the first beta.
Edit: Olympus is awesomely fast to load pages. I've never seen anything like it.

Re: Being tired of waiting and waiting
Yeah..I know the difference between IPB and phpBB's business models.
If you look at that page, it actually lists all developers in the company. Matt is the only one working on IPB. The rest work on other products.

The moment I saw the title of the linked page, I lost control of my muscles for about 5 seconds and could be mistaken as having an epileptic fit.

Re: Being tired of waiting and waiting
Actually, IPB is coded only by one person, it's just his full-time job.VB and IPB for example, have bigger teams working on it. especially if it is a whole new version.
