You should bring yourself up to speed on what an extension is: https://www.phpbb.com/extensions/ You could say it's the evolution of MODs. Gone are the days of having to edit code to get functionality/features you need or want. I'm a tough battered raw mountain biker . . . but I could hug you right...

i did a 3.0 calendar which should be portable to 3.1 as it was done in oop fashion. sajaki, I would not know how to go about "begging" you for a Calendar as an extension! Oh Hey DavidIQ, don't misread me. I'm VERY thankful for phpBB... The people that have been developing this software are amazing and greatly appreciated! I'm okay with an Event Calendar as a Plugin, but there is not even that out there. I have been searching for a solid stable Calendar for a year now...

Not needed...better left off as an extension. I'm curious as to why I significantly disagree with you. I think that an Event Calendar is an intricate part of a Community Forum. In fact my major competitor who uses VBulletin has an event calendar. The members of their site wish I had one on mine and...
