I got the same issue on my Nexus 4, with Android 4.4 and Chrome Browser.
Tried in Firefox for Android, and I do not have the horizontal scrollbar but I can scroll horizontaly the picture (like Chrome).
So there is a probleme with the borders of the picture I guess.

+1 Hanakin, We have to reduce the amount of icons by using sprites and font icons.

I agree, An option in the ACP is unnecessary. Tried testing it out in common.css myself and it breaks the responsiveness of the theme.
Could someone shed some light on the the best way to set max-width in prosilver for testing purposes?

Of course the use of pre-processor will be usefull, I was just talking for people who don't know at all CSS or how to compile a less file. But I don't know the drawbacks of thic method.
By the way, we need a designer to make a mock-up of this "new theme". And I guess, we have to redesign everything ...

Another idea is to etablish a simple style editor in admin panel with main informations.
For exemple, let's the possibility to change some colors, images that are in CSS, font-size, etc...
It will be usefull for administrators who don't really know CSS.
