the only thing this button do is confusing new internet user that try register in forum.
this is only useful in submiting forms with lot of items in exam forms! so user could clear all field quickly and try again in less time! but in a register form, a new user with low experience may click on it ...

this is just an idea. an image captacha should use logic questions within image. a bot can not easily read an scrambled question and then find its answer. this can be very difficult for a bot.

I recently had a spam attack for around 3 days... 8~12 new registration per minutes!
tried GD image, Simple image and GD 3D image. none of them stop it.

gray out or insert a simple javascript alert that tell user should login/ or have permission... in this way do not need lot of edition in current code:

This only works for full quotes using the quote button, otherwise we do want to tamper with user data because the quotes may contain external content which we should certainly not just throw away.
