Re: my exprience: phpBB V.S Vbulletin

Personally, I haven't rewritten my sites yet, so I therefore don't have a phpBB install to link to. I don't think it is fair to make such a distinction based on the users that have a phpBB install linked in their profile. Instead, try phpBB for yourself and see if it fits your needs. If so, great. B...

Re: MVC - Yay or nay?

Yay on MVC for things like large article-based websites, but I'm not sure it makes sense for things like discussion boards.

Re: Feature requests?

For feature requests, http://sourceforge.net/tracker2/?func=b ... tid=975058 is the place to go. You'll need a sourceforge.net account, which can be found at the top as "Create account" and they'll guide you through the process.

Re: = Live Admin Panel Demo = [3.0.4]

Oh my god! I was totally sure I had replied, but I must have clicked the wrong button... Grrrrr! :x My answer was basically: Nowhere then. You are not contradicting yourself. I was feeling totally about what I was writing, and you will never imagine how strange this kind of syntax sounds to my ears...

Re: = Live Admin Panel Demo = [3.0.4]

I'm more and more confused... I am now thinking that "Until now" could mean "But you may have soon", and this would mean that you were not complaining, just warning him. First I thought it meant "I am complaining now, so you have now had a complaint". Both were possible. But now you are saying that...

Re: = Live Admin Panel Demo = [3.0.4]

To help you remember, here is what you wrote: Are you sure that's a good idea? Email addresses, IP addresses, plenty of fun to be had. and I haven't had any complaints. Until now. Stop treating me like an idiot if you don't even remember what you write. I'm not treating you like an idiot, and I kno...

Re: = Live Admin Panel Demo = [3.0.4]

Funny. So if I say "My board has been damaged by an idiot", I am having , thus receiving a complaint. And maybe, if I am the admin of a board, and someone tells me that he doesn't like it, I have made a complaint. Funny, I thought it was the opposite. And also Dog Cow thought the same, since he tho...

Black Antitoon wrote:Did that look like a complaint? To me it looks like a report on something which has happened. Nobody complained with Dog Cow for what had happened, as far as we know, so he hasn't had any complaints yet.
Actually it did. Have fun with those three words. :)

Re: = Live Admin Panel Demo = [3.0.4]

I'm sorry, but you read things that simply were not there. Just because I wasn't giving any suggestions at the time doesn't mean that what I was saying was wrong. Oh, you are right, you didn't say it was wrong, you only wrote: Are you sure that's a good idea? and then and I haven't had any complain...
