Suggestion for phpBB team of experts

Why don't you add to the description of this forum "Do not ask about release date of 2.2"

Ppl keep asking the same question. Maybe this step would help.

People would simply ignore it as they ignore the text on the index page already.

It would do no good. Trust me on this.

I suppose the forum description is unless then, if no one reads it.

I always look for sticky topics to see what the rules are.
I have to admit I usually don't read the text under the forum names.

But I think people here disclaim enough.
The rules are stated in the 2nd post of every single thread in this forum ...
The only thing I don't get is why this forum exists at all :? ;)

Because most forums I know don't disclaim there.
There just something like:

Small talk
talk about crap and stuff

The people who do read it usually don't post asking, but there is not way to gauge that activity. It's safe to assume that were there nothing in the description, then everything set forth by it would be ignored more often.

The release date gag order is noted in the global forum rules anyways. Anyone who is sane enough will read that before even thinking to post. That a small portion of people won't read it is simply a fact of life.

That'd be kind of funny.

"Expected Release Date: Don't ask"
