Tracking forums (new topics) in 2.2 ?

I thought I read that 2.2 will have the ability for users to track/subscribe to a forum (category?) in order to get email whenever a new topic is started.

Is that still in the works? I dont see that option in the UI right now when I look at the topics in a forum, am I missing it, or is it still to come?

I REALLY REALLY am looking for this feature and dont want to commit to this BBware unless it has it. Otherwise, it seems a winner.

Take a look in the User Control Panel. It's there.

Forum Subscription is already implemented, but not activated here.

It is the same as "Subscribe Topic", with the difference of notifications sent out for new topics within teh given forum.

as i see it sub forums are forums, just linked to other forums. Just like forums had categories in 2.0

That didn't answer my question. I was asking if it was possible to track all of the sub-forums of a selected forum by tracking just that forum.
