Re: Good Answer to the when its done question
looks like somebody finally came up with the correct answer. And as for the template not working you can always monkey around with it yourself.

If you're running it on a *nix system, make sure the cache dir is chmod 777, and if running it on windows, run it on *nix instead ;)

1. Your probably using a old CVS version. The news one should work fine.
2. For Unix/Linux servers, as Trek said, you should chmod it to 777. I however, didnt do this, and it still created directories fine =.
3. If all else fails, make these folders: cache>templates>subsilver

Yes, if you're running it in windows, I believe you have to make the templates/subSilver dirs in the cache dir yourself.
CynicalSaint: Odd, cos I've tried several different versions of the CVS, and I've totally reinstalled it twice, and both times I had to chmod the subSilver dir to 777 otherwise it didn't work.
Ah well, whatever works :)

Re: Good Answer to the when its done question
i had to run with safe_mode = off to get the template to work :/
Re: Good Answer to the when its done question
I'm playing with it on windows 2000 using WAMP and after a little tweaking I think it runs well. I will wait for the production release before unleashing it on the internet.
Yes the directorys are messy, yes the images are the wrong size, yes there are page errors, all can be taken care of with a little editing. But for a pre beta "snapshot" I think it is awesome. Anyone complaining has never felt the complexity of debugging software. Just play with it and it will work.

How can you be so sure? What if someone else asks dhn when it comes out and makes it 706 days?
