when i will upgrade to phpbb 2.2
and will the backup work?

Yeah. Hopefully I'll get it right this time...
I messed up the 1.4.4 - 2.0.0 upgrade script, and ended up with all the dates resetting to 1 Jan 1970. Heehee.

And even if the upgrade script wasn't flawless, it'd be better than nothing. And hopefully it will be flawless.
