Love & appreciation for the phpBB developers!

Post by Corvaith »

All of you guys have worked SO HARD putting this together, and getting rid of that massive list of bugs, and putting up with all of us people with esoteric problems, and answering questions and writing code and all of that...

THANK YOU. Thankyouthankyouthankyou. Everything you've done is much appreciated. It's so refreshing to see a project where the developers are truly committed to producing a quality product. How many things have we all seen, in the past, that were far more buggy than one of the early phpBB2 RCs but still got released to the public, to let the users wonder if maybe they were the only ones with problems?

I'm watching the countdown with bated breath. PhpBB2 is going to be a joy and a pleasure to use, and I think we're all blessed to have had such a great group of people working on it.

Hugs and smooches are available if desired. I'm in a good mood.

I know they don't like these kinds of threads, but maybe they'll indulge us under these special circumstances. They have indeed worked hard, and I hope they're enjoying the fruit of their many labors.

Corvaith said it all. Repeating won't make it more true.

The Group rocks! :)

Only thing I could say is if I was next to you, I would buy you a beer.

Hmmm, the developers don't like receiving compliments?

In that case...

You guys stink, the phpbb2 source code looks like spaghetti. If my dog looked like the Devs, I would shave its butt and make it walk backwards.

Is that more their style?

Just kidding btw
