Auto replace EN language

Auto replace EN language

Hi

i have an idea.

for example:
i have a board with "Persian" language when miss a language element like 'G_GUESTS' auto replace with EN language this element.

I think this MOD (Advanced Multi Language Pack Support MOD) can do it, but it would be great to have such a function in core phpBB.

I thought that phpBB already used British English (the default) for missing language variables (at least in 3.0).

No it doesn't. If a language variable is not defined in the user's language the language variable is what prints out on the page.

Maybe I saw a request for that feature on phpbb.com and thought that it had been done. Oh well.
