Where Should Extensions ACP Panels Go?

I would also remove the dot, I never understood it's (dot) purpose.

With change ticket PHPBB3-11645 We have 2 tab with extension in the ACP. Is that not the confusing? Would not it be better to put the extension in a 1 tab?

Also note that 2 is just the renamed version of .MODs
