whats your idea about [RFC] phpBB info Thanks in ACP
phpBB info thanks means Name of develop member for new releasing and they work for example phpBB 3.1 directly. we must know who people worked on this version. and this is a Thanks and Encouragement from him.

I'm sorry I don't even know what you are asking. Please try and rephrase that RFC in proper english.

Either way it lacks any technical details, so moving to discussion, as this is clearly not an RFC but an idea.

I believe he is asking that the development team is recognized by name in the ACP. We already get credit in the authors document in the repository. I do not feel that any further recognition is necessary.

Another problem with a Credits screen is that you'll likely offend somebody. I mean, who should be included -- developers, patch authors, RFC authors, QA, Support staff, forum Moderators, RFC commenters, etc.? It's a can of worms. (That said, I did add a credits section to my Manage Bots script, but that's a little easier to track.)

phpBB already contains a copy of the list of developers, look at phpBB/docs/AUTHORS.

Which is also out of date as there are many more "contributors" than the three listed.
