Well, I find it rather confusing that quick reply shows up on all pages, It always makes me think it's the last page. Having the pagination above quick reply might help with that. But I'm not sure what the ideal solution is.

I think pagination would be good above it as well if we can figure out a good way. I'll go make an RFC for it. EDIT: And done.

And one more thought... What about the quick reply being collapsed by default. It may be expanded by the user when required

Previously, it was collapsed and pressing a button would make it appear. They removed that functionality. I liked the collapsing. Pressing a button like that is no problem to me. Anyway, if phpBB users prefer the uncollapsed way, I accept it.

I think it makes it a lot easier and quicker to use. And you immediately see that quick reply is actually there. With the button I typically still clicked post reply cause I didn't realise there was an editor right there.

What I could imagine though, is collapsing it on all pages but the last. Since it's a bit less natural to reply before the end of the topic.
