IMO something like a recycle bin for delete posts would be a better solution. This could be used for other features, too.
BTW: IMO the aim should be to prevent spam and not to manage spam.

That's because this can be a MOD. Different people like to manage these kinds of things differently.
Some prefer to kill spam (like moi and you) others like to manage it and, sometimes, let people have spam in his board. Depends on the policy of the board.

I ment that the recycle bin could be used for posts deleted by other reasons, too. Not only to manage spam.

BTW: I'm deleting only spam which could pass by blocking features. Most of spam could not been posted or registered. It has been blocked what IMO means prevention.
