Multiple CSS Templates for prosilver ?

Postby Dragosvr92 » Sat Jan 28, 2012 11:54 pm

Currently the default two styles, prosilver and subsilver are both white based styles. There are people that prefer darker styles, as they are kinder to the eye.. So, the idea came. What if there will be a setting that allows you to set multiple CSS templates for the same html template ?
Most styles have usually just css modifications and the html is usually identical to the default styles anyways.

I guess what i am saying isnt much to go from.. but probably others can suggest something better. :?

-1, they should remain as additional styles

That sort of post isn't helpful in the slightest. Maybe "This is too much work, the developers won't have enough time", but not that. If you feel that the current style is "broken", go post in a topic how the current style is "broken". It shouldn't be brought into other topics.

Well, there wouldnt be a need of extra html files just for a style with different colours.
I think it would be a nice idea to include something like multiple theme folders for prosilver. Or nevermind.. :)

I think this is a good idea. Allow prosilver to have multiple styles based on options.
The HTML is exactly the same just the CSS changes.
This would require some small (I think) changes to the core so that each theme supports multiple styles depending on the user's preferences.
Anyway, I believe that, with style inheritance, this problem was partly solved.
